HOOTERS! ;)
supposed to go swimming with ern today. but i woke up at abt 5+ and saw that it was raining super heavily..so well, swimming was off! :( next week then..
went church for christmas's skit rehearsal from 1230 to 3pm..then jam-ed in church with mic, su wei, chole, xiaowei, har, jason and vic cuz we didnt know where to go..jamming was fun! taught su wei how to play the keyboard while jason taught chole to play the guitar..i really really hope that we can start a girl band soon! grins..that will be my aim for now. cuz all the musicians now are all boys! so only if melissa, gina or me lead worship, it will always be boy-band! nor fair huh? haha..
met dad and mom in the evening for dinner at clarke quay's Hooters. we had 1/2 dozen of live oysters, golden calamari rings, hooters chicken wings in 2 flavours(hot and 3mile), garden salad(i tell you their croutons are superb! not like some other places, where their croutons are instant ones! =x) and lastly to end our yummy dinner, we had snow crab's legs! the oysters are really superb! the waitress said they are from california. and i think i believe..they are a little sweet..much better then the oysters served at jack's. too bad my mom didnt eat, she just missed out on such a yummy dish! but i still think that i should have ordered a dozen oysters! they are like so irresistible!! haha..the snow crab's legs are pretty yummy too! they are not like the normal mud crabs that we eat at hawker centres. they are much bigger, but ppl only eat their legs..i wonder what they do with the body?? since their legs are thicker then my fingers and twice longer then my fingers, i really wonder how big are they?? my dad said they are from Alaska..dont know how true it is! heh..anyways the bill came up to abt S$78++ dont know if i should say the food is cheap or not. cuz my dad paid! heh.. :))
after dinner, we headed to the old Diamaru to walk and see what supermarket had taken over. we found out that it was another supermarket call "Meidi-Ya" that took over. as quite disappointed when i found out that my favourite Japanese restaurant "Nantu" isnt there anymore.. :( thats the place where i always go to eat after church with my parents..all the way since i was young.. :_( anyways we walked around the supermarket, bought some groceries back. didnt buy much..cuz the things there cost abt x4 times then our local supermaket like NTUC, Shop and Save........we only bought abt 5-6 items and it cost like S$20+ almost S$30 already!
i was the happiest when we left there..cuz i get to take taxi back! haha..my mom only suggested and my dad agreed instantly! haha..had some girly talk with my mom the whole journy back. talked abt boys..my studies..blah blah. but our contents and details are all highly confidential! even my dad sitting on the front seat didnt know what were we talking abt! hee..anyways i'm really happy lately. i'm spending more and more time with my parents unknowingly, we share housework, watch tv together..there are so much more lesser arguements, scoldings, shoutings between us lately! ;)) i dont mean that we always do that, but i really feel a sense of belonging to my house and my parents..i havent felt this way for a long long time! the feeling is like................indescribable with words! :) i seriously urge readers of my blog to spend more time with their familes! :) cuz no matter whatever happens, they are the only ones that will be left there when problems arise..and also, blood is always thicker then water! agree? hee..
alright, think i've blogged enough! haha. pretty long for a day's happenings..i'm tired too! so gdnight world. sweet dreams! ;)
